Japan TELEC certification profile

The radio law requirements, to the specified radio equipment for approval (i.e., technical regulations conformity certification). Certification is mandatory and certification body for the MIC in the specified radio equipment scope approved by the registered certification body. TELEC (Telecom Engineering Center) is a Japanese radio equipment conformity certification of main registered certification body.

(1) the TELEC certification standards

Certification of technical standards refer to its website technical regulations conformity certification system of the listed classification of specified radio equipment and technical standard. It is important to note that these technical standards and the Radio regulations (Radio Regulatory appointed the Rules No. 18) diverge from, the technical requirements for the Radio regulations shall prevail.

TELEC Certification, including Test (Test Certification) and Type approval (Type Certification). Test certificate for each equipment unit for validation, this certification is only for each after the validation of equipment unit effectively;

Type approval refers to the same design and manufacture of a batch of samples for validation of equipment, this certification is valid to this batch of equipment, but if changed, to design or manufacture of equipment will need to be certified.

It is important to note that for the low power radio station and terminal equipment use needs to apply for licenses to MIC.

In addition, for telecommunications terminal equipment conformity certification in two situations:

For ordinary telephone device, as long as JATE certificate required by telecom enterprise law;

For wireless terminal equipment, in addition to need JATE certificate required by method of telecom enterprise, also need to TELEC certification required by radio method.
